Time constantly changES everything—that includes me. That includes you.

With that in mind, please remember that everything on this site, art and words, are thought experiments, my journey leading to the awareness that dreaming and thinking out loud is allowed. However, what is also true is that in 3+ decades I've learned it's a waste of time to chisel anything I think is real or true into stone because it can, has, and will become the proverbial millstone around my neck. Why? Time = Change.

For me, living from authenticity means believing, harnessing the willingness to look again, re-thinking, recognizing, understanding, and accepting that Time changes everything all the time without notice. Dancing with the arcing angles of death gave me my life and a purpose. This was the catalyst for examining my life, realizing how most of my attitudes and habits were anchored in static beliefs. Thinking about things I'd long held to be true without examining their veracity—actually being prevented from doing so—I realized I was trusting my life to someone long dead who decided they knew what was true for everyone.

Living in a universe that was birthed in paradox, peace means finding paradise in paradox, and personally, this is what believingallows me to do. It lets me honor all that Is, knowing I'm connected to everything, and prevents me from confusing who I am with any belief. A state of openness I've long called non-attachment, not detachment. This means what I allow into my life isn't me or even about me. What I'm given, what I choose to receive requires me to hold it in an open hand, keeping my heart and attitudes open as well. So when it exits, I'm free to honor what was, even grieve its loss, but knowing that I am not less than. This is what allows me to remain open to receive and return.

One of my favorite things to do is go to the beach and sit near the water's edge. I love the meditative experience of watching layers of sea foam appear—millions of tiny bubbles lasting only seconds before they break. This reminds me of life and the stark reality that a lifetime is over in the blink of an eye.

Watching sea foam form and break always reminds me of blowing soap bubbles through a pipe. This is another powerful way to observe the relationship between geometry and rainbows. Keep breathing, softly and slowly, moving small amounts of air through the pipe, and watch the swirling patterns of the rainbow as they continue moving on the surface of the bubbles.

Both catalyze multiple 'what ifs' for me. The one that always emerges is:

What if the Universe is a grand geometric bubble, and we're tiny bubbles of existence, like specks of foam carried by arcing angles, floating in the temporal knot?

Into the Dreaming

In the dreamtime I’m able to recall vague feelings about my life before my dance with the Arc Angles, the pirouette that carry every one of us from living into our ‘next’. While my memories were fogged or deleted due to the traumatic brain injury, what causes a cacophony in my heart and brain to this day is connected to being told what to believe, what to say and what to do, parroting someone else’s beliefs having been told they are right and I am wrong.

When thinking about the life lessons you passed, celebrate and dance in the light remembering that you are here, which means you PASSED. Don’t go rooting in the darkness to see if you can find a seed of light. Bathe in the light of the Love you remember because that heals the wounds and opens the illusion of the darkness. Don’t be enticed into the ‘shame and blame’ game, looking for phantoms.

Identify loving kindness and you are “InLightened” and “InPowered”! powerful.

Honor what’s true for you, knowing that conformity —the habit that kept many of us alive— let’s us dance today.

Let nothing silence your authenticity! Living for Love today, do so in ways that lets others hear and see who you truly are.

  • Experience.

Even the simplest change in attitude can be the catalyst for transformation. It begins with an experience that imprints your body, heart, brain, and spirit, leaving an impression that cannot be erased.

The decision we face is: deny it; discount it; or harness the courage to remember and make the change.

The world is waiting for the true you to appear.

  • Remember.

When an experience changes who you know you are, transformation begins. Growth —another word for change— starts on the inside and works itself out.

The fastest way to explore is to remember what it is to be child-like. Gifting myself a new box of 64 color crayons and big pieces of paper proved to be the fast track to remembering. Why? Because it meant ignoring childish attitudes.

  • Explore.

When you care enough to dare to live your life on purpose, remember— you can have it all, but you cannot do it all alone

Growing beyond belief happens through relationship, understanding, accepting and appreciating the beauty that’s possible because of the diversity responsible for co=creating unity.

Awe, Whimsey & Wonder

When my hands aren’t on the computer, I almost always have a paintbrush or camera in my hand. I’m grateful for the moment when I’m able to capture stunning light or whimsey like this beautiful feather lavender feather that rode the wind until it was snagged by these glorious purple blossoms as if by arrangement.

Children at play, water, light, and the fading beauty of a flower all enchant me…
